Visit the River Roads Artisans Gallery during the month of September to find exceptional art and craft for feathering your favorite hideaway! From fun mixed media quilts and found object sculpture for your colorful cottage, to one-of-a-kind antler baskets, and artful photography, we offer the handwork of more than 35 Maine craft artists. For your arts and crafts style bungalow , we offer raku-fired lamps with mica lampshades and mirrors in birds-eye maple!


A destination worth the trip, the River Roads Artisans show their works in an old farmhouse gallery along Route 150 (North Ave.) in Skowhegan. Follow the Kennebec River and you'll surely be delighted by the possibilities for antique shopping, gallery hopping, and good eating at the local pubs and diners.

Take I-95 to EXIT 133, toward SKOWHEGAN/ JACKMAN.

0.2 mi. Turn RIGHT onto US-201. 14.4 mi. Turn RIGHT onto US-2/ US-201/ ISLAND AVE. Continue to follow US-2 N. 0.5 mi.Turn LEFT onto ME-150/ NORTH AVE. 0.7 mi. End at 219 North Ave Skowhegan, ME 04976 (We are just past the yellow and black signs for Evelyn's Furniture, in a greenish gray farmhouse gallery!)
